Carlow Chair

The Carlow Chair is a mid-century modern side chair with a black metal frame and a sculpted walnut veneer back. Two slim black uprights rise from the rear legs to hold a wide, curved back panel, and the contoured seat sits on four straight black legs, so the warm walnut appears to float against the dark frame.

The chair is offered with either a wood seat or an upholstered seat, letting you choose an easy-clean all-wood look for a busy cafe or a cushioned seat in faux leather for longer meals. Its 17.75" width keeps layouts efficient, and a matching Carlow bar stool carries the look to the bar. The Carlow is available only as shown and is part of our quick ship program.

Built for commercial use

The Carlow has a welded metal frame paired with a walnut veneer back, built for daily commercial use. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and on the upholstered-seat version the foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year warranty on finish and upholstery from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

COM: customer's own material is accepted for the upholstered seat (minimums may apply), and we will give you the yardage.

This item is in stock in our quick ship program and ships within 2–3 days of order and payment, nationwide. Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
