Stephen Chair

The Stephen Chair is a clean, contemporary side chair that pairs a slim metal frame with a curved wood back and an upholstered seat. Straight square legs rise into back posts that hold a gently curved, walnut-stained veneer back panel, and a padded seat in faux leather sits on the frame below. The contrast of black metal, warm walnut tone and dark upholstery, as shown in the photo, gives it a tailored, modern look.

The curved back cradles guests comfortably, and the upholstered seat makes the Stephen a good fit for full-service dining and banquet rooms. It stacks for storage and quick room changes, and it is part of our quick ship program, so it is in stock and ready for fast-turn openings and replacements. Specify it in a range of faux leathers, or send your own material.

Built for commercial use

The metal frame is welded rather than bolted, tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. Foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It stacks, and ganging hardware may be available depending on the chair. We do not stock stacking carts, but they can be custom made on request. The chair ships fully assembled and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Lead times and ordering

This item is in stock in our quick ship program and ships within 2–3 days of order and payment, nationwide. Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
