Montecito Chair

The Montecito Chair is an outdoor arm chair from our Alfresco line. Rows of 5mm round rope are woven in an open, basket-style pattern across the back and the wide, wraparound arms, giving the chair a relaxed, handcrafted look. The woven shell sits on a slim powder coated cast aluminum frame with tapered legs, and an upholstered seat cushion adds comfort.

The rope is available in white, black, grey or taupe, shown here in taupe with a charcoal frame and a cream seat cushion. An optional quick dry foam seat helps cushions dry faster after rain, which makes the Montecito a practical choice for patios, pool decks and rooftop dining.

Built for commercial use

The cast aluminum frame is powder coated for outdoor use and will not rust. Like the rest of our Alfresco line, the Montecito uses UV-rated, outdoor-suited materials; in extreme environments, regular care helps it last longer. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It ships fully assembled and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Finish Option D): smooth and textured powder coats including white, taupe gray, mink brown, medium gray, brown caramel, black satin, black and anthracite bronze.

Seat cushion (Fabric Option C): a selection of Sunbrella fabrics along with the Aprohdite and Cartenza fabric ranges.

Woven rope: 5mm round rope in white, black, grey or taupe.

Quick dry foam: optional quick dry foam seat for outdoor use.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
