Lounge Chairs and Sofas

Lounge seating is what guests remember from a lobby, a club room or a hotel bar. Designform builds lounge chairs, settees, sofas and ottomans on hardwood and steel frames with commercial foam and upholstery, backed by a 3-year structural frame warranty and testing to 400 lbs.

Planning a lounge group

• Scale. Check seat height and depth against the use: lower and deeper for cocktail lounges, higher and firmer where guests stand up often, such as senior living and waiting areas.
• Grouping. Two chairs and a small table fit most lobby alcoves; settees and sofas anchor larger rooms and amenity floors.
• Upholstery. In-house fabrics and faux leathers or your own COM/COL, most rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs, meeting CAL TB 117-2013. Bleach-cleanable vinyls are available on request.
• Swivel and motion. Available on selected frames.
