Cope Lounge Chair

The Cope Lounge Chair is a 60"-deep chaise lounge with a sculptural, reclining profile. A polished stainless steel frame curves in one long arc from head to foot, cradling a thin upholstered pad and a cylindrical headrest roll. The frame rests on a black powder coated base, so the curved cradle appears to float above it.

Upholster it in leather, faux leather or your own leather (COL). It is a statement piece for a hotel lobby, suite or private lounge, offering guests a place to stretch out while giving the room a strong modernist focal point.

Built for commercial use

The Cope's steel frame is welded, not bolted, for long-term rigidity. It is tested to 400 lbs and to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from our factory and is covered by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty.

Finishes and upholstery

Frame: polished stainless steel on a black powder coated base.

Leather (Leather Option A): standard, deluxe and premium leathers, including distressed leathers such as Distressed Bourbon, Distressed Hickory and Distressed Whiskey.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): a wide range of standard and deluxe faux leathers in neutrals, blues, greens and warm earth tones.

COL: customer's own leather accepted (minimums apply).

For commercial use, specify upholstery rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs. We accept COM and COL and will give you the yardage needed for each piece. See our guide to double rubs.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Designform Furnishings is a commercial wholesaler: we sell to businesses, designers, purchasing firms and the public for commercial projects, not for residential or personal use. We ship worldwide.
