Copine Chair

The Copine Chair borrows the clean, honest lines of the mid-century school chair and refines them for hospitality. A curved wood veneer back and a shaped veneer seat float on a slim steel frame, and four tapered solid wood legs splay slightly outward, joined to the frame with neat metal brackets that become part of the look.

The mix of materials is what makes it so useful: the steel frame can be powder coated in a soft white, black or one of our matte colors, while the wood comes in natural ash, oak and walnut tones or black painted ash. Shown in a light natural finish with a white frame, it feels Scandinavian and airy; in walnut with black it turns warmer and more tailored. Built for commercial use

The steel frame is welded, not bolted, and anchors the solid wood legs and veneer seat and back. The Copine is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option B): matte white, matte warm gray, matte silver gray, matte orange, matte dark gray (sand finish), matte black, dark gray and army green powder coat.

Custom powder coat colors are also available.

Wood (Wood Option D): American ash, black painted ash, American white oak and American walnut, for the solid wood legs and the veneer components.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
