Astrea Chair

The Astrea Chair is part of our Al Fresco line: a powder coated cast and aluminum frame paired with a teak wood seat and back. Slim, straight legs and a lean, upright frame keep the profile crisp, while the teak slats on the seat and back bring warmth and natural texture to patios, terraces and pool decks.

The horizontal teak slats across the back give the chair a relaxed, café-style rhythm, and the dark frame frames the honey tones of the wood. Because the frame is aluminum and the wood is teak, the Astrea is suited to outdoor dining as well as bright indoor spaces that want an indoor-outdoor feel. It is an easy choice for restaurants and hotels that want one chair for both the dining room and the patio.

Built for commercial use

The Astrea's metal frame is welded, not bolted, and the chair is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. As part of our Al Fresco collection it is UV-resistant for year-round outdoor use, and its teak seat and back are suited to the outdoors. The chair ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
