Nelson Chair

The Nelson Chair takes the timeless cross-back bistro chair and reimagines it in poly-molded polypropylene with a natural wood-look finish. From across the room it reads as a classic bentwood-style chair, with an arched top rail, an X-shaped back, a rounded seat, a decorative apron loop and gently splayed legs, but it is built to live outdoors.

Because the frame is molded polypropylene rather than wood, the Nelson stands up to sun and weather on patios, terraces and event lawns while keeping the warm, rustic character of a farmhouse or lodge chair. It stacks for compact storage, which makes it a strong option for banquet rooms, wedding venues and outdoor dining areas that reset often. It is offered in the natural wood-look finish shown and is in stock for quick shipment.

Built for commercial use

The Nelson's poly-molded frame is UV-resistant for year-round outdoor use and wipes clean easily. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. The chair stacks for storage. We do not stock stacking carts, but they can be custom made on request. It ships fully assembled and carries our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish warranty from shipment.

Lead times and ordering

This item is in stock in our quick ship program and ships within 2–3 days of order and payment, nationwide. Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
