Antilles Chair

The Antilles Chair is an outdoor dining arm chair from our Al Fresco line that pairs a solid teak base with a hand-woven rope body. The rope is woven in an open, airy lattice across a curved back that wraps forward into the arms, while four tapered teak legs give the chair a warm, natural footing. A plush seat cushion, available with quick dry foam, makes it comfortable for a long lunch on the terrace.

The woven rope comes in white, black, taupe or grey, and the cushion can be upholstered in outdoor performance fabrics. The combination of honey-toned teak and textured rope suits coastal, resort and rooftop settings, and the open weave keeps the chair visually light on a crowded patio.

Built for commercial use

The base is solid teak, a wood suited to outdoor use, and the rope and cushion are chosen for life outside. Like our other Al Fresco products, the Antilles is UV-resistant for year-round outdoor use. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and the foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is covered by our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Cushion fabric (Fabric Option C): outdoor performance fabrics, including Sunbrella and Cartenza and Aprohdite selections, chosen to handle sun and weather.

For commercial use, specify upholstery rated 75,000 to 100,000 double rubs; our upholstery double rubs guide explains why. COM and COL are accepted, and we will provide the yardage.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
