All of Designform Furnishings products are commercially rated unless otherwise noted. Designform Furnishings warrants the finish and upholstery on its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship as long as the original customer owns and uses the product under normal use conditions for a period of (1) year from the shipment date.

The structural integrity of the frame is covered under warranty for a period of (3) years from the shipment date. This warranty is subject to the product being properly maintained and inspected to ensure that all bolts, screws and hardware are kept tight and secure to ensure the product continues to perform as designed and intended. Improper maintenance can cause hardware to come loose which could compromise the integrity of the chair and would not be covered under warranty or liability.

If a product is defective, and if written notice and accompanying photos of the defect is provided, Designform Furnishings, at its option, will replace or repair the defective part or product. If the defective product is no longer available then a comparable product(s) option will be provided. All claims under this warranty must be made by the original purchaser within thirty days of the alleged defect. Products that have been disposed off or are not available for review prior to proper documentation and warranty submittal approval will not be covered under warranty.

This warranty does not apply to defects from normal wear and tear, accidents, negligence, abuse, shipment, handling, storage or environmental conditions. Damage caused by the use of detergents, abrasives or other harsh cleaning agents will not be covered under this warranty. Products with any wood components will not be covered under warranty due to product(s) being used outdoors or in a non-conditioned environment where temperature and humidity levels fall outside of acceptable limits. Products of wood construction are susceptible to possible hair-line cracks over time which typically do not compromise the integrity of the chair. This warranty is the customer’s sole remedy for product defect.

Designform Furnishings will not be liable for damages caused by improper maintenance, lost profits, replacement rental costs, labor costs for removal and installation of the product, other costs of repair or replacement, or any other direct or indirect costs resulting from any defects in material or workmanship. Damages that occur during transit when the client has elected to use a 3rd party carrier or freight forwarder will not be covered under warranty. Products that have been found to have damage that have been shipped to an installation company or storage facility may not be covered under warranty.

Our liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective item(s) only.
