Ashlyn Chair

The Ashlyn Chair is an outdoor dining arm chair from our Al Fresco line that pairs a fine welded steel frame with solid teak legs. The back and arms are a single curved shell of thin steel rods, arranged in a radiating, leaf-vein pattern that is both graphic and airy. Four tapered teak legs, capped where they meet the steel, add warmth, and a seat cushion, available with quick dry foam, makes it comfortable for long meals outdoors.

The open wirework keeps the chair visually light, so it never crowds a terrace or rooftop, while the teak softens the modern lines. The steel comes in textured and smooth powder coats, and the cushion is upholstered in outdoor performance fabrics.

Built for commercial use

The steel frame is welded, not bolted, and the legs are solid teak, a wood suited to outdoor use. Like our other Al Fresco products, the Ashlyn is UV-resistant for year-round outdoor use. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and the foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is covered by our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option D): textured and smooth powder coats in white, taupe gray, mink brown, medium gray, brown caramel, black satin, black and anthracite bronze.

Cushion fabric (Fabric Option C): outdoor performance fabrics, including Sunbrella and Cartenza and Aprohdite selections, chosen to handle sun and weather.

For commercial use, specify upholstery rated 75,000 to 100,000 double rubs; our upholstery double rubs guide explains why. COM and COL are accepted, and we will provide the yardage.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
