The Copine Grand Stool with Upholstered Seat is the roomiest stool in the Copine family, with a wider seat and a full bar height. A curved wood veneer back rises on a slim steel frame above an upholstered seat pad, and four long tapered solid wood legs splay outward to a metal footrest ring for a stable, open stance.
Shown with walnut-toned wood and a dark upholstered seat, it brings the warm, tailored look of the Steakhouse Collection to the bar. The generous seat makes it comfortable for long evenings at a bar or chef's counter, and the open frame keeps a long run of stools from feeling heavy. It coordinates with the Copine Chair with Upholstered Seat and the Copine Stool with Upholstered Seat Pad.
The steel frame is welded, not bolted, and ties the solid wood legs together for a rigid stool at bar height. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.
A 30.75" seat height suits bar-height tops. Because the Grand is 21" wide, allow about 26" per stool for comfort; see our bar stool spacing guide and bar vs counter stool height guide.
Wood (Wood Option D): American ash, black painted ash, American white oak and American walnut, for the solid wood legs and the veneer components.
Metal (Metal Option B): matte white, matte warm gray, matte silver gray, matte orange, matte dark gray (sand finish), matte black, dark gray and army green powder coat.
Upholstery: Leather Option A (a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers), Faux Leather Option B (standard and deluxe faux leathers in neutrals, browns, blues, greens and accent colors) and Fabric Option A (a broad selection of commercial fabrics and tweeds, many rated 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs). COM is accepted; minimums may apply.
For commercial seating we recommend upholstery rated at 75,000 to 100,000 double rubs. COM and COL are accepted, and we will provide the yardage for your fabric or leather. Our upholstery double rubs guide explains the ratings.
