Allister Stool

The Allister Stool is a backless bar and counter stool that pairs a solid wood seat with a slim, industrial steel frame. The seat is gently saddled for comfort, with softly rounded edges, and sits on four thin steel legs that splay slightly outward. A square footrest ring links the legs and gives guests a natural place to rest their feet.

Warm wood against dark metal gives the Allister a workshop character that suits breweries, gastropubs, coffee bars and modern restaurants. Because it is backless, it tucks completely under a counter when not in use, keeping aisles clear. It comes in bar and counter heights, with a custom powder-coat color available for the frame. Built for commercial use

The steel frame is welded, not bolted, for a stool that stays solid through years of daily service. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and it ships fully assembled from the factory. It carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option A): a wide range of powder-coat colors from our Color Finish Series, Metal Finish Series options like matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized, and Premium Finishes including antique brass, brushed copper, dark bronze and rust patina.

Custom powder coat: custom frame colors are available to match a project palette.

Wood (Wood Option A): teak (unfinished or oiled), oak, ash, antiqued ash, medium brown stained ash, chestnut brown ash, brushed antique cherry ash, European beech and American walnut.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
