Belgium Stool

The Belgium Stool is a simple, sturdy backless stool with a powder coated steel frame and a solid wood seat. Four flat steel legs splay outward for stability and are tied together by low stretchers that double as footrests, giving the stool a crisp, workshop-inspired look.

The round solid wood seat adds a warm, natural contrast to the metal, and the frame can be finished in dozens of colors, from classic black to deep teal or a custom powder coat. Because it is backless and compact, the Belgium tucks neatly under bars and counters and keeps sight lines open. It is available in bar and counter heights, and there is also an upholstered-seat version.

Built for commercial use

The Belgium's steel frame is welded, not bolted, for strength in busy bars and restaurants. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes

Metal (Metal Option A): a wide range of powder coat colors from our Color Finish Series, plus Metal Finish Series options such as matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized, and Premium finishes including dark bronze, rust patina, brushed copper, antique brass and matte red rust. Custom powder coat colors are also available.

Wood seat (Wood Option A): teak (unfinished or oiled), oak, medium brown stained ash, European beech, ash in chestnut brown, ash in brushed antique cherry, ash, antiqued ash and American walnut.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
