Sling Stool

The Sling Stool carries the Sling's tailored, minimalist design to bar and counter height. Seat and back panels are slung across a thin powder coated steel frame, with the back wrapping over the uprights like a folded sleeve, and four slender legs are tied together by a rail of crossbars that doubles as a footrest.

Choose upholstered panels for comfort and color or wood veneer for a crisp, natural look. The Sling Stool stacks for storage, a real advantage in event spaces and flexible bars, and it coordinates with the Sling Chair and Sling Lounge Chair for a consistent look from the bar to the dining room and lounge.

Built for commercial use

The Sling Stool's steel frame is welded rather than bolted. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It stacks for compact storage. Ganging hardware may be available depending on the chair. We do not stock stacking carts, but they can be custom made on request. It ships fully assembled and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood veneer: black ash, natural ash or walnut.

Fabric (Fabric Option D): pewter grey, lead grey, terra cotta, light green, dark green and dark blue.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option D): chestnut or black.

Leather (Leather Option D): chestnut or black.

COM is also accepted (minimums may apply). Minimums apply for any finishes that are not stocked; contact your local rep for details.

For customer-supplied material, we recommend specifying a commercial-grade textile rated at 75,000–100,000 double rubs. We accept COM and COL and will give you the exact yardage. See our upholstery double rubs guide for more.

Lead times and ordering

This item is in stock in our quick ship program and ships within 2–3 days of order and payment, nationwide. Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
