The Suter Stool carries the Suter Chair's soft, wraparound shape up to bar and counter height. A padded back curves around the sitter and sweeps forward into the arms, creating a snug, supportive seat that feels more like a small lounge chair than a typical bar stool. Underneath, a solid wood frame with slender legs, open side rails and a low stretcher foot rest keeps the look light and tailored.
Upholstered in leather, faux leather or fabric over a wood frame, the Suter Stool invites guests to settle in at hotel lobby bars, wine bars and chef's counters. It coordinates with the Suter Chair, so dining rooms and bars can share one consistent design.
The solid wood frame uses mortise-and-tenon joinery with very few bolted connections for lasting strength. The Suter Stool is tested to 400 lbs, tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory, with a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Because the Suter has arms and a wide seat, plan about 26" to 28" per stool along the bar rather than the usual 24". Our bar stool spacing guide and bar vs. counter stool height guide have more detail.
