Sutton Stool

The Sutton Stool brings the Sutton Chair's fully upholstered, wraparound shape to the bar. A rounded, padded back curves forward into short arms, and the cushioned seat rests on a slim steel frame with thin legs and a low foot rest. The effect is plush and tailored up top, light and minimal below.

Upholstered in leather, faux leather or fabric, the Sutton Stool gives guests real back and arm support for long evenings at hotel lobby bars, steakhouse bars and cocktail lounges. Pair it with the Sutton Chair for a consistent look between dining room and bar.

Built for commercial use

The steel frame is welded, not bolted, for lasting rigidity. The Sutton Stool is tested to 400 lbs, tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is covered by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option A): Color Finish Series powder coats in a wide palette, Metal Finish Series options such as matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized, and Premium Finishes including dark bronze, antique brass, brushed copper, rust patina and matte red rust.

A custom powder coat color is also available for the frame.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option A): a broad range of standard and deluxe faux leathers, from vintage and pebbled finishes to classic solids.

Leather (Leather Option B): pebbled black, copper, pebbled lead, pebbled battleship, ash grey and vintage umber brown.

Fabric (Fabric Option B): velvets in rich colors plus durable Fighter and Medley textiles rated 100,000 to 130,000 double rubs.

COM: Customer's own material is accepted (minimums apply), and we will provide the yardage.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
