Anisette Stool

The Anisette Stool is a backless steel stool with an honest, workshop look: a round dished seat, four slim legs that splay gently outward, and a ring of footrest stretchers set low between them. The silhouette is compact and clean, so a long run of Anisettes reads as a tidy line along a bar rail or a high-top counter rather than a crowd of furniture.

It is made in two heights, a 30" bar stool and an 18" dining stool, and the frame is fully welded steel finished in powder coat. Because it is usable outdoors and stacks, the Anisette moves easily between a terrace bar, a courtyard and an indoor dining room. A matching Anisette chair is also available for projects that want the same look at the table.

Built for commercial use

The Anisette frame is welded steel, not bolted, so there are no joints to loosen over time. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and it ships fully assembled from the factory. The stool stacks for storage. Ganging hardware may be available depending on the chair. We do not stock stacking carts, but they can be custom made on request. It is covered by our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option A): our Color Finish Series of matte and gloss powder coats, the Metal Finish Series (matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized), and Premium Finishes such as dark bronze, rust patina, brushed copper and antique brass. Custom powder coat colors are also available.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
