Yardbird Stool

The Yardbird Stool brings the industrial A-frame look of the Yardbird Chair to bar and counter height. A welded steel frame with outward-angled legs supports a wood veneer seat and a curved veneer back that floats on two steel uprights. Flat steel stretchers brace the legs and give guests a sturdy place to rest their feet.

Shown with a light gray frame and natural veneer, it has a clean, utilitarian character that works in coffee bars, breweries, food halls and restaurant counters; darker frames and walnut-toned veneers give it a moodier, gastropub feel. It comes at bar and counter height and coordinates with the Yardbird Chair and Yardbird Upholstered Chair, and it is part of our Lobby & Lounge Collection.

Built for commercial use

The Yardbird Stool frame is welded steel, not bolted, so it stays rigid in busy bars. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Metal (Metal Option B): matte white, matte warm gray, matte silver gray, matte orange, matte dark gray (sand finish), matte black, dark gray and army green.

Wood (Wood Option D): American ash, black painted ash, American white oak and American walnut.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
