Barber Stool with Metal Base

The Barber Stool with metal base pairs a softly curved upholstered seat and back with a slim polished stainless steel base. The rounded back wraps gently around the sitter and floats just above the seat, leaving an open gap that lightens the profile and makes the stool easy to grab and pull out. Four slender legs and a square foot rail keep the base minimal and refined.

Upholster it in leather, faux leather, fabric or your own material. A rich leather against polished steel feels polished and hotel-ready, while a soft fabric makes it a comfortable perch for a long evening at the bar. Pair it with the matching Barber Chair with Metal Base, or use the Barber Stool with Wood Base where you want a warmer wood frame with the same silhouette.

Built for commercial use

The Barber Stool's metal base is welded, not bolted, so it stays rigid through constant use. It is tested to 400 lbs and to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. Each stool ships fully assembled from our factory and is covered by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Base: polished stainless steel.

Leather (Leather Option A): standard, deluxe and premium leathers, including distressed leathers such as Distressed Bourbon, Distressed Hickory and Distressed Whiskey.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): a wide range of standard and deluxe faux leathers in neutrals, blues, greens and warm earth tones.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): a broad range of commercial fabrics and tweeds, many rated from 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs, or COM (customer's own material; minimums apply).

For commercial use, specify upholstery rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs. We accept COM and COL and will give you the yardage needed for each piece. See our guide to double rubs.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
