The Barber Stool with Wood Base is an upholstered bar and counter stool with a softly curved, open back. The rounded back wraps gently around the sitter and stops short of the seat, leaving a slim gap that keeps the profile light and gives guests a natural handhold. Below, solid wood legs taper slightly toward the floor and are tied together with stretchers and a foot rest.
Choose the frame in American walnut, white oak, ash or beech, and upholster it in leather, faux leather, fabric or your own material. An optional brushed stainless steel foot rest cover, or brushed brass, protects the wood where feet rest. Pair it with the matching Barber Chair with Wood Base, or with the Barber Stool with metal base for a sleeker variation of the same silhouette.
The Barber Stool's solid hardwood frame is joined with mortise-and-tenon construction and very few bolted connections, so it stays tight through years of service. It is tested to 400 lbs and to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. Each stool ships fully assembled from our factory and is covered by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty.
