Weston Backless Stool

The Weston Backless Stool combines a solid wood frame with a seat of hand-woven leather strapping. The straps are interlaced in a basket-weave pattern across a softly dished seat, which gives with the body and develops a rich patina as the leather breaks in. Four slender, slightly splayed legs are tied together with stretchers that double as footrests.

Without a back, the Weston tucks fully under a bar or counter and keeps sightlines open, which makes it ideal for tight bar runs, chef's counters and communal high-tops. The pairing of natural wood with leather in honey brown, mahogany, black or natural vegetable-tanned hides suits our Steakhouse and Alpine Lodge collections. It coordinates with the Weston Chair and the Weston Stool, so you can choose backless at the counter and backed seating elsewhere.

Built for commercial use

The Weston is built on a solid wood frame with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood (Wood Option A): teak (unfinished or oiled), oak, European beech, American walnut, and ash in natural, medium brown, chestnut brown, brushed antique cherry and antiqued finishes.

Leather strapping (Leather Option E): black, honey brown, mahogany brown and natural vegetable-tanned leather.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
