The Ansel Stool is a solid wood bar and counter stool with a compact, squared-off back. Straight, square legs are braced with stretchers on all sides, and the rear legs rise into a short upholstered back that gives just enough support without crowding the bar. The look is simple and sturdy, with a warm, crafted feel suited to lodges, steakhouses and neighborhood bars.
Choose the frame in American walnut, white oak, ash or beech, and upholster the seat and back in leather, faux leather, fabric or your own material. The foot rest comes with a brushed stainless steel cover, with brushed brass available as an option, protecting the wood where guests rest their feet. Pair it with the coordinating Ansel Chair to carry the same look from the dining room to the bar.
The Ansel's solid hardwood frame is joined with mortise-and-tenon construction and very few bolted connections, so it stays tight through years of service. It is tested to 400 lbs and to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. Each stool ships fully assembled from our factory and is covered by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.
