Alford Stool

The Alford Stool brings the look of the Alford Chair up to bar height. It keeps the same broad, softly curved back panel, a single wide piece of solid wood that gives the stool a strong, simple silhouette, set above a solid wood seat and four round legs. Stretchers low on the frame and a front footrest rail give guests a comfortable place to rest their feet.

Built from solid European beech, the Alford Stool is dense, durable and easy to keep clean, with no upholstery to wear. It suits bars, brewery taprooms, high-top dining sections and hotel bars that want a warm, traditional wood stool without fuss. Built for commercial use

The Alford Stool uses mortise-and-tenon joinery with very few bolted connections for a frame that stays solid at a busy bar. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and it ships fully assembled from the factory. It carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nail-on nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood stain (Wood Option E): walnut, tobacco, select cherry, rustic oak, natural, maple, mahogany, light cherry and ebony. The deeper stains read warm and traditional, while natural and maple let the beech grain show through for a lighter, more casual room.

This item is in stock in our quick ship program and ships within 2–3 days of order and payment, nationwide. Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks.
