Alden Stool with Cord Seat

The Alden Stool with Cord Seat brings our Danish modern Alden design to bar height. A curved veneer wood back rail sits low between the rear posts, giving gentle lower-back support without blocking sightlines across the bar. The seat is natural woven cord, and slim tapered solid wood legs are tied together by stretchers, with a front stretcher that serves as a footrest.

The warm wood and textured cord give a bar, wine room or hotel lounge a crafted, relaxed feel. Choose a light oak or ash for a Scandinavian look, or walnut for a richer tone. The Alden Stool is part of our Alpine Lodge collection and coordinates with the Alden Chair, so dining and bar seating can match.

Built for commercial use

The Alden Stool's solid wood frame uses mortise-and-tenon joinery with very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nail-on nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet. It also comes standard with a stainless steel foot rest cover, available as an option in brushed brass or black brass.
