The Winston Stool with Upholstered Seat Pad pairs the spindle-back Windsor styling of our Winston family with a cushioned seat. A curved crest rail sits on a row of slender vertical spindles, the long legs splay gently and are braced by stretchers, and a dark upholstered pad sits inset on the solid wood seat for added comfort at the bar.

Shown in a warm wood finish with a dark pad, it has a crafted, welcoming look that suits wine bars, hotel lobby bars, bistros and restaurant counters where guests settle in for a while. The open back keeps long runs of stools feeling light. It coordinates with the Winston Chair with Upholstered Seat Pad, and the all-wood Winston Stool is available when a simpler seat is preferred.

Built for commercial use

The Winston Stool is built in solid wood with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
