Camden Stool

The Camden Stool is a fully upholstered bar and counter stool with a sweeping, curved back. The back wraps around the sides of the seat in one soft arc, giving guests a supportive, enclosed feel, while a slim steel frame with straight legs and a foot rail keeps the overall look light and modern. Seat and back are fully upholstered, front and back, so it looks finished from every side of the bar.

The steel frame comes in a wide range of powder coat colors and premium metal finishes, or a custom powder coat color, and the upholstery can be faux leather, leather, fabric or your own material. A pale fabric on a black frame reads clean and contemporary; a warm leather on bronze feels richer. Pair it with the coordinating Camden Chair for matching dining seating.

Built for commercial use

The Camden's steel frame is welded, not bolted, so it stays rigid through constant use at the bar. It is tested to 400 lbs and to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. Each stool ships fully assembled from our factory and is covered by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Finish A): a wide palette of matte and gloss powder coat colors, metal finishes such as matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized, and premium finishes including dark bronze, rust patina, brushed copper and antique brass. Custom powder coat colors are also available.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option A): a range of faux leathers including cinnamon, cocoa, chestnut, caramel, vintage greens, onyx black and more.

Leather (Leather Option B): pebbled black, copper, pebbled lead, pebbled battleship, ash grey and vintage umber brown.

Fabric (Fabric Option B): velvets in rich colors plus high-performance Fighter and Medley fabrics rated 100,000–130,000 double rubs, or COM (customer's own material; minimums apply).

For commercial use, specify upholstery rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs. We accept COM and COL and will give you the yardage needed for each piece. See our guide to double rubs.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
