You Stool

The You Stool is a lean, modern backless stool that pairs a slim welded steel frame with a comfortable upholstered seat. Four straight, slightly splayed legs rise to a softly dished, saddle-shaped seat with rounded corners, and low square stretchers between the legs provide a footrest. Shown with a brushed brass frame and a dark upholstered seat, it has a refined, jewelry-like quality that suits polished bars and lounges.

The frame is available in black or white powder coat, polished stainless steel or brushed brass, so the same simple form can feel graphic, bright or warm depending on the space. The upholstered seat adds comfort for longer stays, and the compact footprint keeps a long run of stools looking airy. It is also offered with a wood seat as the You Stool with Wood Seat.

Built for commercial use

The steel frame is welded rather than bolted, so there are no joints to work loose over time. The You Stool is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nail-on nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
