Camden Chair

The Camden Chair is a fully upholstered side chair with a distinctive curved back that wraps around the sitter like a soft band. The back floats above the cushioned seat on the slim steel frame, leaving an open gap between them, and four thin, straight steel legs keep the overall look light and architectural.

The effect is modern and tailored, with a nod to mid-century dining chairs. The wraparound back gives good support for long meals, and the 20" width and 17.75" x 17" seat make it comfortable without taking over the table. Specify the frame in any of our powder coat, metal or premium finishes, or a custom color, and pair it with faux leather, leather, velvet or performance fabric. A matching Camden bar and counter stool is available.

Built for commercial use

The Camden's steel frame is welded, not bolted, for long-term rigidity. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year warranty on finish and upholstery from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option A): our Color Finish Series of matte and gloss powder coats, the Metal Finish Series (matte gunmetal, brushed galvanized) and Premium Finishes such as dark bronze, rust patina, brushed copper and antique brass. Custom powder coat colors are also available.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option A): a broad range of standard and deluxe faux leathers, including vintage and pebbled textures.

Leather (Leather Option B): pebbled black, copper, pebbled lead, pebbled battleship, ash grey and vintage umber brown.

Fabric (Fabric Option B): velvets in eight colors plus high-durability Fighter and Medley fabrics.

COM: customer's own material is accepted, and we will give you the yardage.

Where it works

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
