Tusk Stool

The Tusk Stool brings the sculpted Tusk silhouette to the bar and counter in solid wood. Its curved top rail wraps around a low back and tapers into the rear legs in a single flowing line, giving guests a comfortable place to lean without blocking sight lines across the room. An upholstered seat adds comfort, and a brushed stainless cover on the front foot rest protects the wood where shoes land most.

Offered in both bar and counter heights, the Tusk Stool can be specified in walnut, white oak, ash or beech with leather, faux leather or fabric. The foot rest cover is also available in black or brass to suit the hardware in the room. It coordinates with the Tusk Chair, so the same design can run from the dining room to the bar.

Built for commercial use

Like almost all of our wood seating, the Tusk is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections, made to break in over time and develop the patina of heirloom furniture. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nail-on nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet. It also comes standard with a stainless steel foot rest cover, available as an option in brushed brass or black brass.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood (Wood Option B): North American ash, European beech, American white oak and American walnut, plus ash with light or dark walnut stain, beech with walnut stain and black painted open-pore ash.

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, including distressed premium hides.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): a wide range of standard and deluxe faux leathers.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): commercial fabrics and tweeds, many rated 72,000–130,000 double rubs. COM is accepted (minimums may apply).

Foot rest cover: brushed stainless, black or brass.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
