Tusk Chair with Cord Seat

The Tusk Chair with Cord Seat pairs the Tusk's sculpted solid wood frame with a hand-woven natural cord seat for a relaxed, Scandinavian-inspired look. The curved top rail wraps around the back and tapers into the rear legs in one continuous line, while the woven seat adds texture and a lighter, more casual feel than an upholstered cushion.

The cord seat is breathable and develops character with use, and it works beautifully against walnut, white oak, ash or beech frames. Use it where you want warmth and craft without upholstery to maintain. The chair coordinates with the upholstered Tusk Chair and with the Tusk Stool with Cord Seat, so a dining room and bar can share the same design language.

Built for commercial use

Like almost all of our wood seating, the Tusk is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections, made to break in over time and develop the patina of heirloom furniture. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, ships fully assembled from the factory, and carries our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish warranty from shipment.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
