About the Spindle Chair
The Spindle Chair is a modern take on the classic spindle-back dining chair. A gently curved wood top rail sits across the back posts, supported by slim vertical spindles that run down to a shaped wood veneer seat. Splayed legs joined by stretchers give it a stable, crafted stance, and the overall look is light, honest and a little Scandinavian.
It is a compact, hardworking dining chair that suits cafes, bistros and lodge-style dining rooms alike. Finish it in walnut or white oak for warmth, or in black painted ash for a sharper, graphic look. It is part of our Alpine Lodge Collection and coordinates with the Spindle Stool and the Spindle Chair with Upholstered Seat Pad, so you can carry one look from the dining room to the bar.

Built for commercial use
The Spindle Chair has a solid wood frame built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections, so it stays tight through years of daily service. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment.

At 18.5" wide, the Spindle fits comfortably at about 24" per seat, which makes it efficient for busy dining rooms. Our restaurant seating layout guide covers spacing and aisle clearances.

Wood (Wood Option B): American walnut, American white oak, North American ash, European beech, black painted ash (open pore), beechwood with walnut stain, and ashwood with light or dark walnut stain.

Lead times and ordering
Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
