Palmas Chair

The Palmas Chair is part of our Al Fresco line, and it has a playful, sculptural silhouette. A round hoop of solid teak wraps the back and arms, filled with slender teak spindles, and the seat floats within the ring on a slim steel sled-style base. The combination of warm teak and dark metal gives it a relaxed, mid-century resort feel.

An upholstered seat cushion and back pad, available with optional quick dry foam, add comfort for lingering outdoors. The steel base can be powder coated in smooth or textured finishes, and cushions can be covered in Sunbrella and other outdoor-rated fabrics. The Palmas is a standout for pool decks, garden terraces, wedding and event venues and rooftop lounges where a chair should feel as good as it looks.

Built for commercial use

The Palmas combines a solid teak frame suited to outdoor use with a welded steel base, and as an Al Fresco product it is UV-resistant for year-round outdoor use. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled and carries our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Metal (Metal Option D): smooth and textured powder coats including white, taupe gray, mink brown, medium gray, brown caramel, black satin, black and anthracite bronze.

Cushion fabric (Fabric Option C): Sunbrella and other outdoor-rated fabrics.

Frame: solid teak.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
