Statham Wood Series Chair

The Statham Wood Series Chair takes the slim round-rod steel frame of the Statham and fills it with solid teak slats. Horizontal teak boards form the back and the seat, warming up the industrial frame and giving the chair a relaxed, garden-bistro character. The legs loop into a light, sled-like footing, so the whole chair keeps a clean, drawn-in-one-line profile.

Teak is one of the few woods suited to outdoor use, which makes this version a strong choice for patios, pool decks and terraces as well as indoor dining rooms. Pair the natural teak with a bold powder coat, like the teal shown in the photo, or keep it understated in black or gunmetal. Built for commercial use

The steel frame is welded rather than bolted, tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. With solid teak slats, it is designed for outdoor use as well as indoor dining rooms. It stacks, and ganging hardware may be available depending on the chair. We do not stock stacking carts, but they can be custom made on request. It ships fully assembled and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option A): a broad palette that includes the Color Finish Series (matte or gloss solids such as black, white, charcoal, red, midnight blue, olive green and aqua, plus colors like warm gray, shadow blue, peacock and seafoam), the Metal Finish Series (matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized) and Premium Finishes (antique brass, brushed copper, dark bronze, rust patina and matte red rust). Custom powder coat colors are also available.

Wood (Wood Option A): solid teak slats, unfinished or oiled. Wood Option A also lists American walnut, oak, European beech and stained ash; for outdoor use, specify teak.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
