Solano Chair

The Solano Chair is an outdoor arm chair from our Al Fresco line with a light, airy take on the classic spindle back. A powder coated cast aluminum frame forms slender legs and a low, curved back of closely spaced spindles, capped by a teak wood head rest that wraps around the top like a crest rail. An upholstered seat cushion sits on the frame, with an optional seat back cushion.

The teak cap adds natural warmth against the painted metal, and the cushions use quick dry foam, so the Solano recovers quickly after rain or a patio hose-down. It is at home on restaurant patios, rooftop terraces and resort pool decks, and the open back keeps it from blocking views in busy outdoor dining areas.

Built for commercial use

The Solano is part of our Al Fresco collection, which is UV-resistant for year-round outdoor use. Its metal frame is welded rather than bolted, it is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Metal (Metal Option D): white (smooth or textured), Prima 2 white, taupe gray, mink brown, medium gray, brown caramel, black satin, black textured and anthracite bronze.

Outdoor fabric (Fabric Option C): Sunbrella and other outdoor-grade upholstery fabrics in a range of neutrals and colors.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
