Salerno Chair

The Salerno Chair is an outdoor arm chair from our Al Fresco line that combines a welded steel frame with a teak seat and back. Horizontal teak slats form a generous, gently curved backrest, the seat is slatted in teak as well, and teak caps top the steel arms, so guests touch warm wood wherever they rest a hand.

The slim dark steel frame keeps the chair crisp and architectural, while the teak brings the natural warmth people expect on a terrace or pool deck. The slatted seat and back drain quickly and stay comfortable in the sun. With a 20.25" seat height, the Salerno sits a little higher than most dining chairs, so it pairs best with outdoor dining tables chosen to match.

Built for commercial use

The steel frame is welded rather than bolted. The chair is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and Al Fresco products are UV-resistant for year-round outdoor use; a textured powder coat finish is recommended for the frame. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Metal (Metal Option D, textured finish recommended): White, taupe gray, black and anthracite bronze in textured finishes, plus smooth finishes including white, mink brown, medium gray, brown caramel and black satin.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
