Santos Chair

The Santos Chair is an Al Fresco arm chair that pairs a solid teak base with a faux woven wicker back. The weave is open and graphic, wrapping from the backrest around into the arms in a deep, enveloping shell, while four tapered teak legs ground the chair with warm, natural wood.

An upholstered seat cushion, available with optional quick dry foam, makes it comfortable for long dinners on a terrace or rooftop. The contrast of dark weave and honey-toned teak gives the Santos a relaxed, resort-casual character that also works indoors in steakhouses and hotel restaurants that want texture. It coordinates with the matching Santos Stool for bar areas.

Built for commercial use

The teak base is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections. The chair is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. Al Fresco products are UV-resistant for year-round outdoor use, and the optional quick dry foam helps cushions recover quickly after rain. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
