Benton Chair

The Benton Chair takes the timeless bistro silhouette and builds it in steel. Its tall back is formed from bent tubing that rises into a rounded hairpin loop with a second loop nested inside, framing an airy, graceful outline that looks at home on a Paris-style terrace or a neighborhood cafe patio. A round seat sits on four slender legs that are braced by a full ring stretcher just below the seat.

Because the Benton is made from steel and meant for outdoor use, it lets you carry the same classic cafe look from the dining room out to the sidewalk or courtyard. Finish it in one of our standard powder coat colors or a custom color, from soft neutrals to deep bronze and verdigris tones. For bar and counter seating, the Benton High Back Stool shares the same looped design.

Built for commercial use

The Benton is a welded steel chair, not bolted, so there are no fasteners to loosen over time. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It ships fully assembled from the factory with a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
