The Aliya Chair is an upholstered dining side chair with a soft, modern shape. The back is a rounded, shield-like form that rises from a gently curved seat, and both are fully upholstered over a slim steel frame. Thin legs splay slightly outward, giving the chair a light, almost floating stance that keeps a room feeling open even when it is full.

The pairing of plush upholstery and a minimal metal base makes the Aliya comfortable for long meals while staying visually quiet. Upholster it in velvet for a hotel restaurant or private dining room, in performance fabric for a busy cafe, or in leather for a club grill, and choose a frame color from a wide powder-coat range to match. The Aliya coordinates with the Aliya Lounge Chair for lobby and lounge areas.

Built for commercial use

The Aliya's steel frame is welded, not bolted, for long-term strength in commercial dining rooms. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Fabric (Fabric Option B): a selection of velvets in colors such as sand, rust, teal, fern green and goldenrod, plus Fighter and Medley performance fabrics rated 100,000 to 130,000 double rubs.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option A): a broad range of standard and deluxe faux leathers, from vintage and pebbled textures to solid neutrals and deep blues and greens.

Leather (Leather Option B): pebbled black, copper, pebbled lead, pebbled battleship, ash grey and vintage umber brown.

Metal (Metal Option A): a wide range of powder-coat colors from our Color Finish Series, Metal Finish Series options like matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized, and Premium Finishes including antique brass, brushed copper, dark bronze and rust patina.

COM: customer's own material is accepted (minimums may apply), and we will provide the required yardage.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
