Brooks Arm Chair

The Brooks Chair is a sturdy powder-coated steel arm chair with a classic ladder back. Four horizontal steel slats span the back between square uprights, and flat steel arms sweep forward from the back posts to the front legs, giving the chair a clean, slightly industrial look. The seat is solid wood or slatted wood, adding warmth against the steel frame.

Specify the slatted teak seat and the Brooks can be used outdoors on patios, terraces and pool decks; other wood seats are best kept indoors. The frame comes in a wide range of standard powder coat colors and premium finishes, and the seat is available in species from teak and oak to ash, beech and walnut. It suits beer gardens, coastal restaurants and casual dining rooms equally well.

Built for commercial use

The Brooks has a welded steel frame, not bolted, for lasting strength. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. For outdoor installations, specify the slatted teak seat. It ships fully assembled from the factory with a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option A): a wide range of matte and gloss colors from our Color Finish Series, Metal Finish Series options such as matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized, and Premium Finishes including dark bronze, rust patina, brushed copper and antique brass.

Wood seat (Wood Option A): teak (unfinished or oiled), oak, medium brown stained ash, European beech, chestnut brown ash, brushed antique cherry ash, natural ash, antiqued ash and American walnut.

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request.
