The Ava Chair is a lightweight, mid-century-inspired dining chair built from a slender steel frame with a shaped veneer wood seat and seat back. Thin steel legs angle out beneath the seat, and a pair of rods rise behind it to carry a curved back panel that floats above the seat, giving the chair an airy, graphic silhouette.
The molded seat and back are contoured for comfort without upholstery, which keeps the chair easy to clean and quick to turn between services. Pair the warm veneer with a black frame for a classic modern look, or choose from dozens of powder coat colors to match your palette. For a softer version, see the Ava Chair Upholstered.
The Ava's steel frame is welded, not bolted, for strength in daily commercial service. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. The chair ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment.
