Tusk Stool with Cord Seat

The Tusk Stool with Cord Seat combines the sculpted Tusk frame with a natural hand-woven cord seat for a warm, crafted look at the bar or counter. The curved top rail wraps around a low back and tapers into the rear legs, and stretchers on every side give guests a place to rest their feet. In a light wood finish, it brings an easy Scandinavian feel to a room.

The woven cord seat adds texture and breathability, and it pairs naturally with the Tusk Chair with Cord Seat in the dining room. Available in bar and counter heights and in walnut, white oak, ash or beech, it has been specified for restaurants such as Copra in San Francisco and Eataly in Los Angeles, shown in the project photos on this page.

Built for commercial use

Like almost all of our wood seating, the Tusk is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections, made to break in over time and develop the patina of heirloom furniture. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish warranty from shipment.
