Stafford Stool

The Stafford Stool takes the Stafford Chair's steel-and-wood Windsor design up to bar and counter height. A curved solid wood back rest wraps around the sitter and flows into the arms, carried on slim steel spindles above a contoured solid wood seat. Tall, slender steel legs are tied together with stretchers that give guests a place to rest their feet.

The wraparound back and arms make it a stool people settle into, which suits restaurant bars, hotel lounges and club grills. Specify black steel for a crisp, modern look or brushed brass for warmth. It comes in bar and counter heights and coordinates with the Stafford Chair.

Built for commercial use

The Stafford Stool has a steel base and seat back that are welded, not bolted, so the frame stays rigid through daily use. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood back rest and seat (Wood Option B): American walnut, American white oak, North American ash, European beech, black painted ash (open pore), beechwood with walnut stain, and ashwood with light or dark walnut stain.

Metal: black or brushed brass.

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request.
