Verve Chair

The Verve Chair is a fully upholstered dining chair on a solid wood frame, designed for rooms where comfort matters as much as looks. Its padded back curves around the sitter and steps down into low arms, offering a hugging, supportive feel without the bulk of a full arm chair. Slim, slightly tapered wood legs keep the profile light, and an optional metal stretcher adds a refined detail at the base.

Upholster the Verve in leather, faux leather, fabric or COM, and choose walnut, white oak, ash or beech for the frame. Its low arm height lets the chair slide close to most tables, which makes it practical for banquette-facing seating and private dining rooms. It is a natural pick for upscale restaurants, hotel dining and club rooms where guests linger.

Built for commercial use

Like almost all of our wood seating, the Verve is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections, made to break in over time and develop the patina of heirloom furniture. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood (Wood Option B): North American ash, European beech, American white oak and American walnut, plus ash with light or dark walnut stain, beech with walnut stain and black painted open-pore ash.

Leather (Leather Option A): a wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, including distressed premium hides.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): a wide range of standard and deluxe faux leathers.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): commercial fabrics and tweeds, many rated 72,000–130,000 double rubs. COM is accepted.

For commercial use we recommend specifying upholstery rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs; our double rubs guide explains why. COM and COL are accepted, and we will give you the yardage.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
