The Taylor Stool brings the Taylor Chair's mid-century lines to bar and counter height. A rectangular upholstered back pad floats between slim rear posts above a cushioned seat, and the solid wood legs splay gently outward for stability. A low front stretcher wrapped with a metal foot rest cover protects the wood where guests rest their feet.
Comfortable and clean-lined, the Taylor Stool suits steakhouse bars, coastal restaurants and hotel lobby bars. It is shown in the project photos on this page at The Hard Shell in Richmond, VA, and it coordinates with the Taylor Chair for a consistent look from dining room to bar.
The solid wood frame uses mortise-and-tenon joinery with very few bolted connections. The Taylor Stool is tested to 400 lbs, tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory, with a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.
