Youngston Wood Series Stool

The Youngston Wood Series Stool brings solid wood warmth to the industrial Youngston frame at bar and counter height. A flat wood back panel sits on two tall steel posts, the solid wood seat rests on a square steel frame, and four straight legs are tied together by a front footrest stretcher and side and rear stretchers. Shown with a dark frame and natural wood, it has a timeless pub character that suits bars, game rooms and casual dining.

The wood seat and back are easy to clean and develop character over time, and an upholstered seat is available when you want extra comfort. With a wide powder coat palette or a custom powder coat color, the Youngston Wood Series Stool can match a brand palette precisely, and it coordinates with the Youngston Wood Series Chair for a consistent look throughout the space.

Built for commercial use

The steel frame is welded, not bolted, so it stays solid under daily bar use. The stool is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards; with the optional upholstered seat, foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option A): a broad powder coat palette that includes the Color Finish Series (matte or gloss black, white, charcoal, reds, blues, greens, yellows and more), the Metal Finish Series (matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized) and Premium Finishes such as dark bronze, rust patina, brushed copper, antique brass and matte red rust.

Custom powder coat: a custom powder coat color can also be specified.

Wood (Wood Option A): teak (unfinished or oiled), oak, ash in natural, antiqued, medium brown, chestnut brown and brushed antique cherry tones, European beech and American walnut.

Optional upholstered seat (Faux Leather Option A): standard and deluxe faux leathers, including vintage greens, chestnut, caramel, cocoa, saddle and solid colors from putty to onyx black. COM is accepted (minimums may apply).

For commercial seating we recommend specifying upholstery rated 75,000–100,000 double rubs. COM and COL are accepted, and we will provide the yardage your fabric or leather supplier needs. See our upholstery double rubs guide for more.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample stools are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
