Stella High Back Stool with Large Wood Seat

The Stella High Back Stool with Large Wood Seat brings the industrial bistro look to bar and counter height, with a roomier solid wood seat. Formed steel legs taper slightly as they rise, a tall curved back with vertical cutouts gives support, and footrest rails connect the legs at a comfortable height. The large wood seat adds warmth and a little extra room compared with the standard Stella stool.

It comes in bar and counter heights, so you can run the same look along a bar and a kitchen-style counter. The steel frame can be finished in metallic tones like the galvanized look shown in the photo or in any of a wide range of colors, and the seat can be specified in walnut, oak, beech, ash stains or teak. For outdoor installations, specify the teak seat. It coordinates with the Stella Chair with Wood Seat for matching table seating.

Built for commercial use

The steel frame is welded rather than bolted, tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. For outdoor use, specify the teak seat; other wood species are for indoor use. It ships fully assembled and is backed by a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option A): a broad palette that includes the Color Finish Series (matte or gloss solids such as black, white, charcoal, red, midnight blue, olive green and aqua, plus colors like warm gray, shadow blue, peacock and seafoam), the Metal Finish Series (matte gunmetal and brushed galvanized) and Premium Finishes (antique brass, brushed copper, dark bronze, rust patina and matte red rust). Custom powder coat colors are also available.

Wood (Wood Option A): teak (unfinished or oiled), American walnut, oak, European beech, and ash in natural, medium brown, chestnut brown, brushed antique cherry and antiqued finishes.
