Schoolhouse “Wood Series” Stool – Room 101

The Schoolhouse "Wood Series" Stool - Room 101 brings the classic classroom chair up to bar and counter height. A tubular steel frame with straight legs and a footrest supports a wood veneer seat, and a curved wood back panel gives guests a place to lean, the same friendly, nostalgic profile as the matching Room 101 chair.

The frame is offered in our standard powder coat palette or a custom color, so the stool can feel vintage, industrial or playful depending on the space. Warm wood veneer where guests sit keeps it inviting. Available in both bar and counter heights, it lines up neatly along a bar rail, kitchen counter or high-top table and coordinates with the Schoolhouse "Wood Series" Chair - Room 101 for the dining room.

Built for commercial use

The steel frame is welded rather than bolted, tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish warranty from shipment. Each stool comes standard with heavy-duty nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Metal (Metal Option A): Our full powder coat palette, including the Color Finish Series (soft grays and blues through bright reds, yellows, greens and aqua), the Metal Finish Series (matte gunmetal, brushed galvanized) and Premium Finishes such as dark bronze, rust patina, brushed copper and antique brass. Custom powder coat colors are also available.

Wood veneer (Wood Option C): White oak, walnut, red oak, oak, black oak, antiqued willow, antiqued rubber and antiqued maple.

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request.
