Savoy Chair

The Savoy Chair is a solid wood arm chair with a clean, tailored profile. Square-edged legs and open arms frame an upholstered seat, and an upholstered back panel sits within the frame, giving the chair a crisp, architectural look that feels at home in a classic dining room or a modern restaurant.

The restrained lines put the focus on materials: pair American walnut with a cognac leather for a club feel, or light oak with a textured fabric for something brighter. With a generous 18.5" x 19.5" seat and supportive arms, the Savoy is built for comfort through long meals, which makes it a natural fit for steakhouses, hotel restaurants and private dining rooms.

Built for commercial use

The Savoy is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and carries a 3-year frame structural warranty and a 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment. Each chair comes standard with heavy-duty nail-on nylon glides, suitable for most commercial floor types, including hardwood, tile, stone, concrete and carpet.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood (Wood Option B): American walnut, American white oak, North American ash, European beech, black painted ash (open pore), beechwood with walnut stain, and ashwood with light or dark walnut stain.

Leather (Leather Option A): A wide range of standard, deluxe and premium leathers, including distressed finishes.

Faux leather (Faux Leather Option B): Standard and deluxe faux leathers in neutrals, browns, blues, greens and reds.

Fabric (Fabric Option A): A broad selection of fabrics and tweeds, many rated from 72,000 to 130,000 double rubs.

COM: Customer's own material is accepted (minimums may apply), and we will provide the yardage.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
