Garrett Chair

The Garrett Chair is a mid-century inspired dining arm chair that combines a solid wood frame with a softly curved upholstered back. The back shell wraps around the sitter and is carried by the wood frame, whose arms sweep forward and turn down into the front legs in one continuous line. A deep upholstered seat sits within the frame, leaving the warm wood exposed around it.

With a 19.5" x 21" seat and a back that hugs the shoulders, the Garrett is made for comfortable, unhurried dining. It looks at home in steakhouses, hotel restaurants, clubs and lounges, and it is part of our Steakhouse Collection. Pair it with natural or stained wood tables for a warm, tailored room.

Built for commercial use

Like almost all of our wood seating, the Garrett is built with mortise-and-tenon joinery and very few bolted connections. It is tested to 400 lbs and tested internally to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, and its foam and upholstery meet CAL TB 117-2013. It ships fully assembled from the factory and is backed by our 3-year frame structural warranty and 1-year finish and upholstery warranty from shipment.

Finishes and upholstery

Wood (Wood Option A): teak (unfinished or oiled), oak, ash, antiqued ash, medium brown stained ash, ash in chestnut brown, ash in brushed antique cherry, European beech and American walnut.

Upholstery: Leather Option B (pebbled black, copper, pebbled lead, pebbled battleship, ash grey and vintage umber brown), Faux Leather Option A (standard, deluxe and vintage faux leathers), Fabric Option B (velvets and high-performance fabrics), or COM (minimums may apply). Send us your COM selection and we will give you the yardage.

Lead times and ordering

Standard production is 14–20 weeks, and most orders can be rushed to 8–10 weeks. Minimum order is typically 4 pieces, and smaller orders are considered on request. Sample chairs are available for sit tests through our sample loan program.
